We regard fostering as a profession , often involving continuous input and appreciate that monetary award is an important consideration. Our intention is to offer a highly competitive financial package and this is centred around both your experience and skill set.
We would expect the weekly fee to cover all expenses although we do contribute additional monies on a case by case scenario. Also on occasions there are special financial needs which may impact on the family budget and we adopt a flexible approach on a case by case basis.
In addition you are also entitled to 10 nights paid respite care annually at your normal weekly fee less £40.

There is also a Holiday Allowance, in addition to your weekly fee, and you need to be on holiday with your foster child(ren) for at least 5 consecutive nights. We have two different rates one for holidays taken in this country and the other for holidays that are abroad.
A bonus scheme is also in operation so that increasing one off payments are made after 1,3,5,7 10,15 and 20 years of fostering with Ryancare.
We also pay additional allowances for Festivals and Birthday.
Additional fees apply if for example you are looking after a Parent and Child or a young person with disabilities.
